Ball Storm

TO Jam Sprint

The game

Genre: Casual Dodge-and-Collect Arcade Game
Platform: PC
Status: Developed during TOJam – 3-Day Sprint
Theme: The More You Have, The Worse It Gets

Overview
Ball Storm is a quick, chaotic arcade game born from a 3-day sprint at TOJam. You play as a kid stranded on the beach with a growing problem — beach balls. Lots of them. At first, it’s manageable. But over time, each ball splits into two, and then those split again, until the screen is an unpredictable storm of bouncing chaos.

Gameplay

  • Dodge or get knocked out: Avoid the multiplying beach balls at all costs.

  • Score points with coconuts: Risk weaving through the storm to collect coconuts for a higher score.

  • Escalating Challenge: The more balls you have on the screen, the harder it gets — perfectly fitting the jam theme.

Development Story
Created by a team of three over a single weekend, Ball Storm was a fast, fun, and collaborative challenge. The focus was on keeping the concept simple, aligning closely with the jam theme, and delivering something playable (and a little bit addictive) by the end of Day 3.
